Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 May 2026
1. Acceptance
By CC'ing Skylar on an email thread or using any feature of the service at ccskylar.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Skylar is an AI-powered scheduling assistant that operates via email. When you CC skylar@ccskylar.com on an email thread, Skylar will attempt to schedule a meeting by communicating with the other participants on the thread. Skylar may also respond to direct messages for configuration and calendar connection purposes.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Skylar. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Skylar to send unsolicited emails or spam.
- Include Skylar on threads without the knowledge of the other participants.
- Attempt to extract confidential information through Skylar via prompt injection or social engineering.
- Use the service to harass, impersonate, or deceive others.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service infrastructure.
- Use Skylar for any purpose other than scheduling meetings.
5. Email communication
By CC'ing Skylar on a thread, you authorise Skylar to send emails to the other participants on that thread for the purpose of scheduling. Skylar will identify itself as an AI scheduling assistant in all communications. Skylar will not email anyone who is not already on the thread you included her on.
6. Calendar access
If you choose to connect your calendar, you grant Skylar read-only access to your free/busy information via OAuth 2.0. Skylar does not access event details, attendee lists, or any data beyond availability windows. You may revoke this access at any time through your calendar provider's security settings.
7. AI-generated content
Skylar uses AI to draft emails and interpret scheduling requests. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. You should review any meeting invitations before accepting them. Skylar is not liable for scheduling errors, missed meetings, or miscommunications arising from AI interpretation.
8. Service availability
Skylar is currently in private beta. We provide the service on an "as is" basis without guarantees of uptime, availability, or uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.
9. Data and privacy
Your use of Skylar is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
10. Intellectual property
The Skylar name, brand, website design, and underlying technology are the property of Brad Fry Ltd. You retain ownership of all content in your emails and calendar data.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skylar and Brad Fry Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost meetings, or business interruption, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or £0 if you are on the free tier).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brad Fry Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of the service.
13. Termination
You may stop using Skylar at any time by simply not including her on email threads. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
